About Orpheus.
Orpheus is a study workspace for students, teachers and tutors: write practice exams, get answers marked fairly, and revise what you've learned until it sticks.
Why the name?
In Greek myth, Orpheus played the lyre so well that rivers paused to listen and stones followed him uphill. His music didn't force anything; it made the hard thing feel easy.
That's the standard we hold this to: studying that pulls you along instead of pushing you.
Who's behind it
Orpheus was founded by Samuel Aslanidis, a clinical science student in Sydney who builds and runs it. He started it to give students the kind of practice that actually prepares you for an exam: papers written from your own notes, and marking that explains every mark.

Rigour over gimmicks
A practice exam is only useful if it reads like a real one: correct notation, sensible marks, rubrics an examiner would recognise.

Marks come with reasons
Every grade shows its working against the rubric, so you can see exactly why, and disagree if you should.

Your work is yours
Everything you make stays private on your account until you choose to share it. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card.
